What is ScamJam?

ScamJam is a mystery international camp happening in 2027 ran by South East District Scout Network. The destination of the camp is a secret to everyone attending until the morning we depart.

When is ScamJam 2027?

ScamJam will be a 5 day, 4 night camp in May or June 2027. As part of the register you interest form, we are asking what dates you are available for the camp. The date that the most people are available for will be the dates of the camp. The dates of the camp will fall over a weekend, to minimise days needing taken off work.

Who can attend ScamJam 2027

ScamJam is open to people who will be 18-25 for the full duration of the camp. The dates for the camp are not yet finalised but people born between July 2002 and April 2009 will definitely be able to attend.

Everyone attending must be a member of a scout network. If you are not currently a member of a scout network, we can help you join one. If we have too many applications, priority will be given to active members of Scouth East District Network.

How much is ScamJam 2027?

ScamJam 2027 will cost £398, which is less than ScamJam 2025.

We strongly believe that international scouting should be as affordable as possible which is why we will work to keep the cost of the camp as low as possible. This may involve running some fundraising events in the lead up to the camp, which we hope anyone attending would help support. We’ve been able to price the camp £1 cheaper than ScamJam 2025, and if we continue at this rate, ScamJam 2823 will be free!
